more emma...

Here are some more pictures of our baby girl...

it's a girl!

Baby Purdum came 8 days early. Our little Emma Grace was born Monday June 12 at 10:46 a.m. 6 lbs 15 oz and 19" oz. She was born w/ the umbilical wrapped around her neck twice, but other than that delivery was quick w/ no major complications. We are all ecstatic to have her in the family.

parents vs. kids

Last Saturday the Spartans faced their parents in a grueling 1.5 hour soccer game. They played hard, desperately wanting to win the game. It went into overtime with the score tied at 5-5. To the kids' dismay, the winning shot was made by a parent (final score 6-5). Heartwrenching screams came out from the mouths of the children, and fists pounded on the grass. Fortunately, popsicles were generously handed out to them afterwards to make up for the loss.

end of the season...

It's the end Tyler's spring soccer season. The Spartans were undefeated except for 2 games which they tied with the other team (8 games total). Next Saturday will be a game between the kids and the adults...I will unfortunately be cheering at the sidelines, but Aaron is ready for the challenge.

33 weeks and counting

Since the last belly photos posted on our blog (at 25 wks), Prasti's feet have gone missing in action...

Go Spartans!

Tyler's back in soccer for the spring. He's having a lot of fun, and he's got some of his old teamates from fall on this team.

Who wears the pants in the family?

Aaron's workgroup met the challenge of getting their pick up service level to 99.8% for the month of April. In exchange, they got to enjoy(?) seeing their boss in a kilt for a day. No FedEx employees were physically harmed during this act, however we cannot vouch for emotional damage.

had to post this picture...

of Beau and Meg. A couple of weeks ago, we watched Meg for a week while Mom and Dad Purdum were out of town. Beau ended up monopolizing Meg's bed the whole week, with Meg left to sleep on the living room carpet (don't know why she didn't take Beau's bed). Finally, one night she begrudgingly shared the bed with him. Very cute-although that was the only time she did that the whole week she was with us.

Visiting Mam and Pap

Saturday 15 April we drove down to Mam and Pap's (Aaron's mom's parents) in St. Clairsville for a little visit. Aaron's Uncle Ed and Aunt Shannon were also there visiting from St. Louis w/ their 9 wk. old twins, Geddy and Sophia. Aren't they cute?? They made their rounds and enjoyed being held be everyone. It was a wonderful visit. Didn't get a chance to take pictures of dad w/ babies, but a picture of mom w/ each of her babies are below (she's wearing blue).

another week...

Prasti's mom & sister have left and Aaron's back to work after taking a week off last week. As a welcome back from vacation present, Aaron's station is having an audit this week...busy, busy. Pictures of the new paint job in the baby's room are up on our website. Don't be afraid of the colors-fun, funky and bright you might say...
